What perks do our employees receive?

We like to give our team a little extra so that it helps to make their lives just a little bit better. We have a list of perks and benefits, including a monthly allowance of up to £50 for each staff member.

This can be used for a wide variety of healthcare, wellbeing, or leisure activities, such as covering the cost of a monthly gym membership, seeking counselling support, or even a food allowance for services like HelloFresh.

*Our HR benefits are available to employed staff once they have passed their probation period*.

Other perks include:

  • One month’s sabbatical (partly funded by the individual) every 3 years, given 6 months’ notice – Available upon application.
  • Staff treatment includes family, i.e. spouse (or another) and children – General FOC (exam, fillings, hyg, x-rays, xlas), 10% off all other treatment.
  • Charity/sponsorship donation match.
  • Retirement Fund – 1 week of pay for every year of service – capped at 25 years.
  • Sick pay – 2 weeks full pay per year.
  • Length of service reward – Holiday reward 1 day for every 5 years.
  • Maternity package – Additional 50% of your SMP after the first 6 weeks, for up to 33 weeks – handbook and contract amendment form.
  • Paternity leave – 4 weeks off, full pay.
  • Birthday off work paid.

Where do we see the company in the next 5 years?

Over the next five years, we have some huge and exciting goals, and we need a team to help us achieve them. We plan to maximise the capacity of our current site, then expand to a second facility to reach more patients and provide more opportunities for our team.

We’ll continue to grow our educational offering through The Campbell Academy, deepen our commitment to social responsibility, and remain an employer of choice in dentistry.

About us

The Campbell Clinic Employee Handbook

This is where we’ll try to share what’s worth knowing about The Campbell Clinic – the company, our culture, our process, and our history.

For over 10 years, we didn’t have a handbook. In those 10 years, when new people joined the company, they were expected to figure things out for themselves. But when we grew from a company of 5, 10, and 20 employees to a company of over 45, our casual introduction style stopped working.

It’s a guide to understanding what people are talking about when they talk about “game face”, to know what our HR benefits are, what our team days look like (usually a lot of fun), and hopefully everything in between.

This handbook also offers us an opportunity to clarify who we are as a company. What we stand for. How we should work. Stating those beliefs in a handbook makes them real and, importantly, holds us accountable.
