Shaun qualified from Guys’ Hospital in London in 2002. Since then, he has provided general dentistry in several East England practices.
In 2012, he undertook a year-long postgraduate training course at the prestigious Tipton Training Institute in Manchester, winning the prize for most improved dentist.
Following this, Shaun completed a Master’s in Dental Law and Ethics from the University of Bedfordshire in 2021, gaining a distinction. Shaun is an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry and a member of the British Dental Association’s private practice subcommittee for general dentistry.
He writes a regular column on ethics for the British Dental Journal. Shaun is also a Non-Executive Director for CDS, a social enterprise providing dentistry for patients with additional needs or who would otherwise have difficulty accessing care.
Away from dentistry, Shaun is a keen musician. He has played guitar since he was 15 and enjoys life at home in the Suffolk countryside with his wife and golden retriever, Monty.
